Tini Store – A Comprehensive Toy Store Furniture Solution
Toy stores are among the most demanding retail environments for commercial furniture. Toy inventory is exceptionally diverse, ranging from plush toys and small collectibles to large playsets and ride-on vehicles. This diversity places unique demands on display furniture, requiring flexible, adaptable solutions that can accommodate varying product sizes, weights, and display needs. Toy stores rely on immersive, themed environments to create excitement and encourage exploration. Fixture furniture plays a central role in bringing these themes to life. Our work on the Tini Store project demonstrates how custom furniture can transform a generic retail shell into a cohesive, brand-aligned space that feels playful yet polished.

Thematic Consistency & Visual Merchandising
Most toy stores are divided into themed zones, each dedicated to a specific product category or brand. In this toy shop, we designed modular fixture systems for each zone, allowing for consistent visual merchandising while accommodating the unique needs of each product category. The plush toy zone features rainbow-accented shelving with curved fronts, designed to create a playful, inviting display for soft toys. The shelves are fitted with adjustable height brackets, allowing staff to customize the display for different-sized plush items.
The Hot Wheels zone, by contrast, features sleek, linear shelving with clear acrylic fronts, optimized to showcase the colorful die-cast cars. The shelves are designed with tiered levels, ensuring that every car is visible to customers. Candy zone is centered around a custom-designed candy tree fixture, with multi-tiered shelves shaped like lollipops and peppermint candies. The fixture’s bright red, green, and white color scheme reinforces the candy theme, while the rounded shelves prevent small candies from falling off. The Thomas & Friends zone features a large central fixture shaped like a tree, with Thomas the Tank Engine at its base. The fixture furniture’s wooden shelves and green grass accents create a playful, train-themed environment that appeals to young children.

Specialized Display Solutions
Plush Toy Displays
Plush toys require soft, open displays that showcase their texture and appeal while preventing damage. For Tini toy display store plush zone, we designed curved, tiered shelving with rounded edges, made from smooth MDF with a soft-touch paint finish. The shelves are spaced to accommodate varying plush sizes, with integrated LED lighting to highlight texture and color. The base of each plush display includes a storage compartment for overstock, with easy access for staff to restock popular items quickly.
Collectible and Die-Cast Toy Displays
Small, high-value collectibles require secure, dustproof displays that allow full visibility. For the Hot Wheels section, we designed wall-mounted acrylic display cases with tiered levels to showcase die-cast cars. Each case features a lockable front panel to prevent tampering, with anti-reflective acrylic to ensure clear visibility from all angles. The display cases are mounted at eye level for children, with the most popular cars placed in the center tier for maximum visibility.
Doll and Fashion Toy Displays
Dolls and fashion toys require displays that highlight clothing and accessories while providing easy access for children. For the Barbie zone, we designed arched shelving with built-in hooks for hanging clothes and tiered shelves for displaying dolls. The display includes integrated LED strip lighting to highlight the dolls’ features and accessories, with a pink, high-gloss finish that complements the brand’s aesthetic. The lower shelves are designed at child height, allowing kids to easily reach and interact with dolls without assistance.
Candy and Confectionery Toy Displays
Candy-themed toys require playful, eye-catching displays that match the whimsical nature of the products. For Tini Store’s candy zone, we designed a custom candy tree display with multi-tiered shelves shaped like lollipops and peppermint candies. The fixture features bright red, green, and white colors, with rounded shelves to prevent small candies from falling off. The display is designed to be a focal point in the store, drawing customers deeper into the space while showcasing the colorful candy toys.
Central Focal Displays
Central focal displays serve as visual anchors in the store, creating memorable experiences for customers. For Tini toy retail store’s Thomas & Friends zone, we designed a large tree-shaped display with a Thomas the Tank Engine model at the base. The fixture features wooden shelves at varying heights, designed to display train sets and accessories, with integrated lighting to create a playful, immersive environment. The display is surrounded by soft, child-sized seating, encouraging kids to engage with the products and spend more time in the store.

Signage & Lighting
Signage is a critical part of toy store visual merchandising, and we integrate custom signage directly into our fixture furniture designs to ensure brand consistency. The Tini Store’s main entrance features a large, backlit “Tini Store” sign, with colorful neon accents that match the store’s interior design. The sign is mounted on a custom-designed frame that blends seamlessly with the entrance’s rainbow-colored trim. Each themed zone features custom signage, the signs are mounted directly to the shelving units uncluttered appearance.
Lighting plays a key role in showcasing toy products, and we design our fixture furniture to integrate seamlessly with the toy shop’s lighting system. The Tini Store’s shelving units feature integrated LED strip lights, mounted under the top shelf of each unit to illuminate the products below. Central tree fixture in the Thomas & Friends zone features a large, multi-colored light fixture at the top, which doubles as a decorative element and a source of ambient lighting for the zone.

From material selection and structural engineering to design, manufacturing, and after-sales support, every step of our process is focused on creating furniture that is safe, durable, visually appealing, and tailored to the specific needs of the toy store. The toy retail store project is just one example of our ability to transform a generic retail space into a cohesive, engaging environment that drives customer traffic and sales.
