Design concept
This gelato kiosk takes gelato as its core inspiration and ingeniously integrates the product form into the space design. The overall shape resembles a giant ice cream. It strengthens the connection between the brand and the product from color to outline. The interesting and intuitive visual language quickly captures consumers’ attention, creating a lively and sweet consumption atmosphere.
In terms of color, it mainly features soft pink and yellow. Pink echoes the common fruit and cream color schemes of gelato. Yellow brings a sense of sunshine and vitality. The combination of the two creates a sweet and cheerful spatial mood. The local white bar counter and sign text brighten up the space and add color layers. A small number of dark brand logo patterns are to emphasize key information, achieving color harmony and visual guidance functions.
Spatial layout
The core of this kiosk is the glass display cabinet. It clearly displays a variety of gelato flavors, making it convenient for customers to choose. Rationally arrange storage areas for cups, cones, and other consumables around to enhance the sales efficiency of employees. The iconic ice cream sticks stand at the top, not only strengthening the brand but also becoming the visual focus of the space, attracting distant customers.
A small bar counter and high stools are set up on the side of the kiosk to create a close-up interactive scene. Customers can wait here to pick up their food and have a simple taste, enhancing the consumption experience. This is also conducive to communication between employees and customers, recommending special flavors, enhancing product dissemination, and at the same time filling space gaps and optimizing the rhythm of the overall layout.
The compact layout and clear functional zoning not only enhance the operational efficiency of employees but also provide customers with a smooth consumption path. The setting up of interactive waiting areas prolongs customers’ stay time, driving up the average transaction value and repurchase rate. The shape and color are in harmony with the open environment of the commercial complex, adding vitality and a distinctive scene to the shopping mall.
Material application
The surface of the kiosk is made of resin-like materials with a rough texture to simulate the texture of the outer layer of ice cream. It visually and tactilely echoes the product, enhancing a sense of closeness. This type of material also has a certain degree of durability and can meet the daily human touch and cleaning needs in commercial spaces. Moreover, it is relatively lightweight, which is convenient for later maintenance and local modification.
The glass display cabinet uses high-transparency and anti-fog glass to ensure the display effect of gelato. It enables customers to clearly see the color and condition of the products while maintaining a low-temperature environment inside the cabinet to protect the quality of gelato. The countertop of the bar counter is made of wear-resistant and easy-to-clean wood and treated with baking varnish. The colored baking varnish has good color rendering, is suitable for light food scenarios, and conveys a natural and warm atmosphere. Metal tripods ensure structural stability and balance the visual and physical properties between materials.
