Design concept
The Urban Teahouse is designed to create a space for people to relax and enjoy a leisurely time. Its overall design style leans towards a combination of modern simplicity and natural warmth, without excessive and complicated decorations. However, it conveys the pursuit of comfort and quality through the details. For instance, the brand logo on the wall adopts a simple font and the outline design of a house shape, which not only highlights the brand name but also echoes the concept of “teahouse.”
The arrangement of the lighting has also been carefully designed, and the brightness and color temperature of the lights in different areas vary. The operation area is bright and clear, facilitating operation. The lighting in the dining area is relatively soft, creating a warm dining atmosphere. In addition, the floor is covered with dark wooden flooring, which is in harmony with the overall wooden elements. At the same time, dark-colored floors are also more dirt-resistant and can keep the space tidy. The junctions between various materials are also handled very meticulously, without any obvious sense of abruptness.

Spatial layout
Preparation Area
The operation area is equipped with professional tea-making equipment, such as coffee machines and juicers. These devices not only meet the production needs of various tea beverages and related drinks but also have a certain display value in their own existence. The countertop in the internal operation area is made of stainless steel, which is not only easy to clean but also has good durability and can withstand frequent use. The walls are tiled with white tiles. White tiles can reflect light, making the operation area brighter and also creating a clean and refreshing atmosphere. The exhibition area mainly presents the desserts, pastries, and other foods that go with tea beverages in the tea house through glass display cabinets.

In terms of space utilization, multiple wooden shelves are set up above the operation area. The shelves are filled with various cups and tea sets, as well as some decorative green plants and small ornaments. The texture and color of the wooden shelves add a touch of natural warmth to the slightly cold stainless steel and tiled space. Meanwhile, the dining area is also equipped with some high stools and narrow tables against the wall, making full use of the wall space.
Dining Area
The layout of the dining area is quite flexible, featuring both small tables suitable for single or double use, as well as long tables and booths that can accommodate multiple people. The small table design meets the needs of customers who come alone to enjoy tea or for a short period of work or reading. Long tables and booths are suitable for scenarios such as friends’ gatherings and small-scale communication, enhancing the social attribute of the space. The wooden desktop continues the natural and warm design theme. The white metal chair is light and simple, which is in line with the overall modern and minimalist style. Meanwhile, the metal material also ensures the chair’s sturdiness and durability. The backrest of the booth area is made of soft material. And the combination with cushions featuring floral patterns further enhances the comfort.

Material application
Wood is widely used in The Urban Teahouse, from tabletops and shelves to some wall decorations; it can be seen everywhere. The natural grain and warm tones inherent in wood bring a rich natural atmosphere to the space. Different types and processing methods of wood also bring rich visual layers to the space. For instance, light-colored logs give people a fresh feeling, while dark wood that has undergone special treatment adds a touch of stability.

Metal materials are mainly applied to the frames of lamps, tables, and chairs, as well as some decorative lines. The black metal-framed lamp has a simple yet design-oriented shape. The light emanates through the metal structure, creating a warm and stylish light and shadow effect. The white metal chair not only has a simple design but also exudes a strong sense of modernity. The black metal crossbeam between the operation area and the dining area not only serves as structural support but also enhances the three-dimensional and design sense of the space.
White tiles are used on the walls of the operation area, creating a clean and refreshing visual effect while also ensuring the hygiene and ease of cleaning of the space. The glass material is mainly reflected in the display cabinets and doors and windows. The glass display cabinets make the food display more intuitive. Large-sized glass doors and windows enhance the sense of transparency in the space. Natural light can fully enter the room, making the entire teahouse brighter. This also enables customers to experience the urban scenes outside the room while still being in a quiet tea-drinking space.
