Design concept
This is a clothing store with an airport as its design theme. It transforms the airport into a retail scene language. The clothing store uses the core elements of the airport, such as terminal signs, boarding gates, check-in counters, and waiting seats. It reproduces scenes and reorganizes functions to allow customers to have an emotional resonance of “fashionable travel” during the shopping process.
This clothing store mainly focuses on young consumer groups. They pursue personalization, experience, and social attributes. The airport theme scene fits their lifestyle of “loving to travel, being happy to check in, and paying attention to consumer experience.” Transforming the retail space into a novel photo-taking check-in point lowers the psychological threshold of consumption and meets the needs of social sharing. At the same time, such a store design can also help the brand spread on social platforms.

Space layout
The window area of this garment store simulates the airport boarding gate. There are dark blue “boarding gate doors,” pink-themed posters, and waiting seats at the door. Combined with the design of the airport VIP lounge, black leather waiting seats and small tables provide customers with rest and experience space. The transparent window is like the glass curtain wall of the airport terminal. This is not only a practical functional area but also a scene punch-in point, which can extend the customer’s stay time and improve the consumption conversion rate.

A “check-in counter” scene is created in the middle of the store. The airport sign above the counter strengthens the theme. Mannequins are around to simulate travelers and build a real context of “selecting travel outfits.” The check-in counter serves as a service desk to provide dressing suggestions and cashier services. The display racks along the wall use open metal frames. Clothing is displayed by color for customers to browse. From the floor plan, closed storage space is in the corner to store inventory and props to ensure the cleanliness of the front scene.

Materials and details
All clothing display racks use black stainless steel aluminum alloy frames and medium-density fiberboard laminates. The surface is matte-finished, combining the tough texture of industrial style with modern simplicity, simulating airport metal facilities. The stainless steel frame and medium-density fiberboard laminates ensure that the weight is light and the structure is stable.
The black ceiling is with circular LED lights and spotlights. The circular lights simulate the ceiling lights in the airport waiting area to create an open atmosphere. Point lights are like airport guide lights, focusing on clothing display. Acrylic plates and UV printing technology are to restore the color and font of the airport logo. They are under the ceiling and become the visual guideline of the space to strengthen the theme recognition. The blue retro suitcase is not only a display prop but also a display of selling goods to increase the customer unit price. Many posters around the store are ultra-thin light box paintings. These can ensure good publicity effects and timely replacement of posters.
