BAKERY KIOSK

Design concept

This waffle kiosk is ingeniously designed. The exterior is made of wood with a checkered pattern, and overall it looks like a waffle. The design is aiming to convey the relaxing enjoyment brought by waffles. The overall style is simple and modern, integrating the pursuit of nature and simplicity in Japanese aesthetics. The brand’s positioning of “daily fresh baking, using high-quality Japanese ingredients” enables customers to predict the product quality from the atmosphere of the space.

The kiosks echo and separate the public spaces of the shopping mall through their materials and colors. Soft tones such as light wood and white are suitable for the bright and open overall atmosphere of the shopping mall. The wooden elements can also coexist harmoniously with other natural-style stores in the shopping mall. Meanwhile, its unique brand identity and spatial design make it stand out among the numerous stores in the shopping mall.

Layout planning

The main body of the kiosk is an open sales space. The iconic illuminated sign is eye-catching and quickly conveys brand information. The operation area and the display area are closely integrated. The ovens, coffee machines, and other facilities in the operation area are arranged in an orderly manner, which not only meets the demand for efficient meal preparation but also enables customers to directly observe the waffle-making process. The menu board is hung in a prominent position, presenting products with both pictures and text, making it convenient for customers to make quick choices.

The dining area connected to the sales area continues the overall style. The tables and chairs adopt a simple design. The light wooden tabletop is paired with white seats, creating a fresh atmosphere. In terms of layout, the spacing between tables and chairs is reasonable, which not only ensures the privacy of customers during meals but also flexibly responds to different customer flows. Long strip seats are set up against the wall, making use of the space while providing diverse options for single or group dining.

Material application

A large amount of wooden elements are used, such as the grille walls in the sales area and the tables and seat frames in the dining area. The wood selection leans towards light-colored varieties with natural textures, conveying a warm and simple touch. Furthermore, it also echoes the brand’s interpretation of “high-quality ingredients” and “natural deliciousness.” Meanwhile, the wooden materials, after treatment, possess certain waterproof and wear-resistant properties, meeting the high-frequency usage requirements of commercial spaces.

Metal frames are used to build the structure of the kiosk. The black metal lines are simple and neat, outlining the spatial contusions and enhancing the modern feel. Moreover, they are of high strength and not prone to deformation, ensuring the stability of the structure. The glass material enhances the sense of transparency in the space, visually connecting the sales and dining areas and expanding the spatial vision. Meanwhile, glass is easy to clean and maintain, keeping the space tidy and beautiful. The floor is made of anti-slip wood grain, which combines aesthetics and safety. Some areas of the wall are coated with cement-textured paint to add industrial-style details and enrich the spatial layers. The chandelier is equipped with simple spherical bulbs. The warm yellow light is soft and not dazzling, creating a cozy dining atmosphere.
