The stores are filled with white medicine display shelves and dim lighting, creating a sense of oppression. Therefore, modern pharmacy store design has made many improvements in this regard. Design of the sales counter
To provide patients with a better medication purchase experience, we chose to design a high-end, modern medical store. As you can see in the images, the design uses a predominantly blue-green color scheme. The overall design, through geometric shapes and a minimalist layout, creates a simple yet sophisticated space and atmosphere.
The semi-circular information counter and arched medicine shelves inject a sense of depth and space into the entire area. The matte surfaces paired with ultra-clear tempered glass doors create a sense of openness throughout the pharmacy.
The cool white spotlights on the ceiling add a fresh and comfortable feel to the store. Combined with natural light, this creates a spacious and open feel throughout the pharmacy. Behind the glass door on the left is a private consultation room for patients. This design provides ample privacy for patients, meeting the need for privacy when communicating with doctors.
Pharmacy lighting selection
We know that lighting selection is crucial in store design. When we enter a pharmacy, the first thing our eyes encounter is the lighting. Lighting is generally categorized into warm, neutral, and cool light. Warm light adds a cozy and comfortable feel to the store. It’s suitable for consultation rooms, giving customers a sense of security and reassurance.
Neutral light is closer to the tone of midday sun. It’s suitable as a main light in the main hall or at the sales counter. Cool light is usually not used extensively. We use small spotlights or fluorescent tubes for localized illumination. We typically place them on the medicine display shelves to increase brightness, ensuring customers can clearly see the bottles when selecting their desired medications.
